Health and safety at work
"Social Europe" is the title of a periodical published by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Employment, Industrial Relations and Social Affairs (DG V). Issue 3/93 of "Social Europe", which has just been published, reviews Community actions in the area of health and safety at work and updates the information on this topic which was contained in Issue 2/90. The publication covers the following two broad areas: - Community initiatives in the area of safety and health at work since the Single European Act, 1987; - Improvement in working conditions. The principal legal texts concerning health and safety at work are annexed to the report.
