Call for proposals for the Energy Research Knowledge Centre
The European Commission has published a call for proposals for the development and maintenance of the comprehensive Energy Research Knowledge Centre (ERKC) within the Strategic Energy Technology Information System. A new version of the SETIS website was launched recently, in order to provide easier access to information on particular low carbon technologies. SETIS, the Strategic Energy Technology Information System, is run by the JRC's Institute for Energy in support of the Commission's Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan). The ERKC will gather, analyse, present and disseminate information regarding the energy research and demonstration in the EU and beyond. It will present the EU and Member States' energy research and demonstration programmes providing the funding and projects funded under such programmes in a clearly structured and user-friendly manner.
