The European Commission, DG XII, has published a call for expressions of interest for the provision of information and communication services concerning European research and technology development.

Firms and individuals can be considered for inclusion on one or more of the sub-lists concerning the following areas:

- Information and communication. The Commission operates an active information and communication policy on European integration and the various Community policies and activities. DG XII's role in this connection is to provide information on the research, technology and development activities of the European Union, both to the scientific community and the general public.

- Drafting (copy-writing) of articles, brochures, newsletters, and other written material, with a technical or scientific content.
