As part of the European Metrology Research Programme, the European Association of National Metrology Institutes has announced a call for Researcher Excellence Grants and Researcher Mobility Grants. Applications are being specifically invited for: - Stage 3 of the Call on behalf of the JRP-Consortia for Researcher Excellence Grants (REG) and Researcher Mobility Grants (RMG); - Open Call for Early-Stage Researcher Mobility Grants (ESRMG). The European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP) is a metrology-focused European programme of coordinated research and development that facilitates closer integration of national research programmes. The aim of the Researcher Excellence Grant is to enlarge the number of organisations with capacities closely relating to metrology within the EU Member States and countries associated to the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). A Researcher Excellence Grant provides financial support for an experienced researcher who will perform research at a 'home organisation' that is not part of the national metrology systems. The aim of the Researcher Mobility Grant is to increase the capability of the European metrology researcher community. A Researcher Mobility Grant provides financial support for a researcher at any stage of their career, to undertake research at an organisation located in a different country to the researcher's employer. The grant is open to many countries, but applications are particularly encouraged from researchers in EURAMET (European Association of National Metrology Institutes) countries which are not yet participating in the EMRP: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, FYR Macedonia, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta and Serbia. To see the full details of the call, please consult: http://www.emrponline.eu./call2010/stage3.html
