Information and communication services for the European Social Fund
The European Commission, Directorate-General for Employment, Industrial Relations and Social Affairs (DG V), has published a call for expressions of interest in the provision of consultancy and other services and products in the field of communication to Unit V/B/2 of the European Social Fund (ESF). The responsibilities of the ESF include information policy. This service will assist Unit V/B/2 in planning, implementing and ensuring ongoing appraisal of a communications strategy for the ESF. All actions undertaken by the intermediate support structure will be subject to clearance from the ESF. In addition, this work should be coherent with the information policy of the ESF and the overall information and communication policy of the Commission. The types of services to be provided by this intermediate support structure would include the following: - Research and surveys; - Collection and management of information on the activities of the ESF; - Development, production and dissemination of written material on the ESF; - Organization and enhancement of events sponsored or co-financed by the ESF; - Media relations; - Production and placement of audiovisual material on the ESF; - Ongoing evaluation of the communications strategy for the ESF.
