First Annual Workshop of the SKIN Project, Barcelona, Spain
The First Annual Workshop of the SKIN Project will take place from 17 to 18 November 2011 in Barcelona, Spain. The workshop is being sponsored by the 'Slow processes in close-to-equilibrium conditions for radionuclides in water/solid systems of relevance to nuclear waste management' (SKIN) project. The project is studying very slow processes that can impact on the mobility behaviour of radionuclides from the source term, the near field and the geosphere. The workshop will present and discuss of the scientific and technical project results. Plenary sessions are used for communicating results from the different project sections. The SKIN project brings together ten partners from seven Europe and People's Republic of China.
