The report contains summaries of the 95 RTD projects funded under the Commission's BRITE, EURAM and BRITE/EURAM programmes during 1992. BRITE (basic research in industrial technologies for Europe 1985-1988) and EURAM (European research on advanced materials 1986-1989) were the first generation of industry-oriented Community RTD initiatives through which international collaboration was a principal objective. The publication brings together the core work of early BRITE, EURAM and BRITE/EURAM projects in a single volume. It describes each project in summary format and places each in its research context.
