Call for tenders for SME innovation in healthcare
The European Commission has published the Health 2013-SMEs for Innovation call for tenders, consisting of two topics: - 'Boosting the translation of health research projects into innovative applications for health' - Development of 'Drugs and vaccines for infections that have developed or are at risk of developing significant anti-microbial resistance' The call is a two-phase procedure where proposals should be received from three to five participants, with a budget ceiling for EU contributions of EUR 6 million and a maximum project duration of three years.
