Call for tender for a service contract for modelling of EU climate policies
The European Commission has published a call for tender for a service contract for modelling of EU climate policies. The objective of the contract is to make available updated and improved quantitative tools for EU climate policies, which are required to assess scenarios and policy options for further developing the climate and energy package as well as other climate-relevant policies in the medium (up to 2020/2030) and long term (up to 2050). Those include economic, environmental and social implications for the EU as a whole, as well as its individual Member States and candidate countries. These analytical/quantitative tools should also allow for an assessment of interactions, possible trade-offs or synergies with other policies, in particular those related to air pollution, land use, and energy and resource efficiency. This is a 24-month contract. The estimated budget value excluding VAT is between 700 000 and 750 000 EUR. Applicants shall send their tenders by 23 July 2013 at 16:00.For further information, please consult: http://ec.europa.eu/clima/tenders/2013/180878/index_en.htm(opens in new window)
