IMI 9th Call for Proposals 2013
The European Commission has published its 'IMI 9th Call for Proposals 2013'. This new call comes under the FP7 specific programme 'Cooperation'. The Innovative Medicines Initiative Joint Undertaking (IMI JU) is a unique pan-European public private partnership between the European Commission and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). Through enhanced collaboration between all relevant stakeholders, it aims to overcome current research obstacles to drug development and, ultimately, to accelerate the development of safe and more effective drugs for patients. The IMI 9th Call 2013 for proposals covers key research priorities such as knowledge management; coping with regulatory and legal hurdles; drug development and infectious diseases.
