Selection of telematics exploratory actions for urban areas
The European Commission, DG XIII, has announced the results of the March 1994 call for telematics exploratory actions for urban areas. The call covered the following areas: - Telematics for education and training, using existing European networks. To cover telematics applications for distance training and cooperation between main actors; - Telematics for urban areas, covering employment, economic regeneration and the transition to a tele-economy. The total European Community contribution for the work on the task lists will be in the region of ECU 3 million. The projects which were selected for funding are included in the text (TXT) field of this news item.
