Proceedings of conference on "The role of technology transfer projects in the innovation process"
The proceedings of a conference entitled "The role of technology transfer projects in the innovation process", which took place in Luxembourg on 21-23 February 1995, have now been published. The aim of the conference was to build on the previous experiences in technology transfer projects and to develop improved processes and policies. It was supported by the Third Activity programme for the exploitation and diffusion of research results of the Fourth Framework Programme. The conference attracted over 500 policy makers, technology brokers, regional agencies mangers, industrialists, project managers, etc. Major themes for discussion included: - The changing scene in innovation and technology transfer; - The need and characteristics of technology transfer projects; - Barriers to technology transfer; - Management and dissemination strategies; - Characteristics of Commission activities in the area, and their planned evolution.
