A multimedia CD-ROM on the Community's Industrial and Materials programme (BRITE/EURAM), "Research and Development Information Output in Industrial Technologies", has been produced by DG XII/C and DG XIII/D of the Commission. Subtitled "RADIO IT", the CD-ROM presents the results of projects funded within the BRITE/EURAM programme. It contains the following six databases: - Programmes: Description of the BRITE/EURAM programme funded by the Commission up to the Fourth Framework Programme (1994-1998); - Projects: Description of the projects funded under the programme, including CRAFT projects, since 1985. It contains 2,779 records with the contact details of the contractors; - Results: Description of 1,009 project results; - Publications: References to publications in the field of industrial and materials technologies. It contains 1,213 records, 600 of which include a summary of the publication; - Who's Who: The names of the Commission officials in charge of the programme as well as the list of correspondents in the Member States. It contains 256 contact names; - Synthesis: Description of analysis and studies on the projects. It contains useful statistical data, diagrams, graphics and comments. RADIO IT has been designed for easy use with IBM or Apple Macintosh compatible computers. The CD-ROM is not yet available for distribution, but can be demonstrated at the BRITE/EURAM contact points in each Member State.
