Commission approves Italian State aid for R&D project
The European Commission has approved a State aid package by the Italian government for the Italian company Ansaldo Gie in support of a research and development project. The objective of the research project is to develop the production processes of components for energy generators (turbines, alternators and boilers). The project will incorporate the extensive use of computer integrated manufacturing (CIM) technologies linked to the introduction of innovation and automation in the production process.
