RTD-Partners is a database service provided by CORDIS to help companies in their search for suitable partners for participation in EU research and technological development (RTD) programmes, for the commercial exploitation of RTD results or, indeed, for any other forms of collaboration. The RTD-Partners database is accessed by a wide range of institutions and is increasingly being used to find partners for the projects undertaken within the European Commissions Fourth Framework Programme. By placing an entry on RTD-Partners, you can promote your specific partnership request or areas of expertise to a large number of potential organizations. At present, over 22,000 potential partnership requests are listed and these are constantly increasing. In order to make sure that these records are kept up to date, CORDIS carries out a substantial update of the database every year. The 1995 update cycle is now underway and organizations included on the database will soon be asked to check their records and amend them where appropriate. All amendments to the current files should be returned to the RTD-Partners team by 31 July 1995 at the latest. Organizations wishing to delete the existing record altogether and replace it with a new one should request a new entry form (electronic or paper) from the RTD-Partners team as soon as possible. Any feedback on partnerships or projects resulting from the use of this database would also be gratefully received.
