Authorization of State aid for "development grants" in Norway
The EFTA Surveillance Authority has recently authorized State aid for a "development grants" scheme administered by the Norwegian Industrial and Regional Development Fund (SND). The purpose of the scheme is to: - Offer aid to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for consultancy services, training and dissemination of knowledge; - Offer aid for investment in applied research and development. Financial support will be available up to the following limits: - 50% of costs related to consultancy services, training and dissemination of knowledge; - 25% (35% for SMEs) of costs related to investment in applied research and development.
