UK aid scheme: Advanced Technology Programmes
The Commission, on 24 July 1991, reached a decision approving the refinancing of the United Kingdom's Advanced Technology Programmes (ATP) scheme for the budgetary year 1990-1991, considering that the scheme is compatible with the Community's framework of aid for research and development. The scheme, directed at basic industrial research but containing small areas of applied research, allows a maximum aid intensity of 40%. The approved budget for the year amounts to ECU 13.5 million.
