Generic technologies for the space sector
The European Commission, DG XII, has published a report entitled "A prospective assessment of generic technologies for the space sector". The report concentrates on generic technologies that are of interest to the space sector. It is the result of a study carried out, for the European Commission, with a view to assessing future space technology needs and defining areas of synergy in which the technological requirements of space and non-space sectors overlap. The report is intended to assist the space sector in making use of Community support for the development of generic technologies which have possible synergies with other industrial sectors.
