The European Commission, DG V, has published an open invitation to tender for the provision of technical assistance in the preparation of the Commission's annual report on "Equal opportunities for men and women".

This will involve assisting the Commission in the collection, analysis and presentation of data relating to the principal developments over the past year, at both European and national level, in the area of equal opportunities.

The selected tenderer will be asked to provide evidence of expertise acquired in the following areas:

- European policy of equal opportunities for men and women;
- National policy of equal opportunities for men and women in European Community Member States;
- Preparation and publication of quality reports in several languages;
