The European Commission has published the text of the Commission Decision of 28 June 1995 concerning the conclusion of the Implementing Agreement between the European Atomic Energy Community, represent by the Commission, and Atomic Energy of Canada limited designated as implementing agent by the Government of Canada. The Agreement concerns the involvement of Canada in the European Atomic Energy Community Contribution to the Engineering Design Activities (EDA) for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) on behalf of the Commission. The Decision follows the Agreement between the European Atomic Energy Community, the Government of Japan, the Government of the Russian Federation, and the Government of the United States on cooperation in the engineering design activities of ITER which was concluded on 21 July 1992.
