Status report on the call for proposals for the Community's environment and climate programme
The first call for proposals for the Community's specific programme on research and technological development in the field of environment and climate (1994-1998) is in the process of finalization. This call will cover theme C of the environment and climate work programme: - Space techniques applied to environmental monitoring and research: . Area 3.2 - Pilot projects for development of space and non-space data into sustainable applications. Its publication, initially foreseen to take place on 15 September 1995, is now expected on 17 October 1995. Before submitting a proposal, applicants are strongly encouraged to contact either relevant Commission personnel or national contacts (the list of such contacts is included in the information pack). In so doing, they can be assured that their proposals will be in line with programme objectives and eligibility criteria before they are formally submitted.
