Telematics for Administrations: European Nervous Systems (ENS) Final Results
The European Commission, DG XIII, has published a report entitled "Telematics for Administrations - ENS Final Results". The European Nervous Systems (ENS) programme (1990-1994), adopted under the Community's Third Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development, supported RTD activities for the establishment of trans-European networks between administrations. The report presents a summary of each of 14 ENS projects. The information on the specific projects includes the main objectives of each project, the technical approach adopted, aspects of user collaboration, achievements and the expected impact on administrations. A list of contact details are also provided.
