Commission Decision concerning the financing of a plant health programme in Madeira
The European Commission has published a Decision on the Community's financial contribution to a plant health programme in Madeira. The objective of the programme is to control organisms that are harmful to plants and plant products. The programme consists of three sub-programmes: - A sub-programme for the autocidal control of the fruit fly; - A sub-programme for the control of the white citrus fly; - A sub-programme for the control of "Trialeurodes vaporariorum" Westwood. The Community's financial contribution to this programme is limited to a maximum of 75% of total expenditure. The Community's contribution in 1995 is set at ECU 900,000 for an estimated total expenditure of ECU 1.2 million.
