The Community's "Technology Stimulation Measures for SMEs" are aimed at encouraging and facilitating participation of SMEs in the specific programmes of the Fourth Framework Programme for research and technological development and demonstration. In this context, the European Commission has established a decentralized network of contacts for a number of the specific programmes. This is referred to as the "CRAFT Network of Focal Points". The aim of the network is to offer interested organizations up-to-date information, in their own language, on the EC's Technology Stimulation Measures for SMEs. The network comprises organizations which were selected by Member States and Associated States as possessing adequate and recognized experience to provide information, advice and assistance to SMEs at national, regional and local level. The network ensures an adequate thematic and geographical coverage in each country. The CRAFT Network of Focal Points for Denmark includes: - National Focal Point: Mr. Børge Bloch-Nielsen Danish Agency for Development of Trade and Industry Tagensvej 137 DK-2200 Copenhagen Tel. +45-35868686; Fax +45-35868687 - Focal Points for the specific programmes: Eurocenter-Erhvervsfremmestyrelsen Gregersensvej Postbox 141 DK-2630 Taastrup Tel. +45-43504000; Fax +45-43716360 Two Fourth Framework Programme specific programmes, namely Information Technologies (ESPRIT) and Advanced Communications Technologies and Services (ACTS), not covered under the CRAFT network, also have specific provision for SMEs. These two programmes can be contacted directly.
