At its meeting of 20 June 1991, the SPRINT Management Committee gave a favourable opinion on the continuation of support for the EUROTECH project for a second year. EUROTECH is a network of twelve major R&D organizations including ANVAR (France), British Technology Group, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (Germany), and CDTI (Spain), set up with the objective of concluding transnational licensing deals involving the results of public or semi-public research. A main target during the second year will be to achieve at least 24 such transnational licensing agreements. EUROTECH also serves as a network for identifying and exchanging best practice in transnational licensing.
