The statistical office of the European Communities, EUROSTAT, has published an invitation to tender for the provision of market research and public opinion poll services within the framework of the Community programme for priority actions in the field of statistical information (1993-1997).

The specific themes to be handled under this service contract concern the management of the Common Agricultural Policy and of the Community's fisheries policy. The contract is divided into the following six lots:

- Lot 1: Eurofarm;
- Lot 2: Drafting of proposals with a view to the harmonization of national forestry statistics;
- Lot 3: Collection and analysis of forestry statistics;
- Lot 4: Preparation of publications on forestry statistics;
- Lot 5: Statistics of manufacturers in the food industry;
- Lot 6: Agricultural statistics.

Companies may tender for one, several or all lots.
