Technical expertise services for the implementation of the OPET network
The European Commission, DG XIII, has published an open call for tenders for technical expertise services for the implementation of the Network of Organizations for the Promotion of Energy Technologies (OPET Network). These comprise support in coordinating, running and animating the OPET Network (OPET Central Unit) and sectoral technical assistance to the OPET Network. The services in question fall within the framework of the implementation of the Community's specific programme for the dissemination and optimization of the results of activities in the field of RTD, including demonstration (1994-1998) (INNOVATION). The call is divided into four separate lots as follows: - Lot 1 (OPET Central Unit): The OPET Central Unit will carry out tasks relating to the technical coordination of the OPET Network, including various support measures; - Lot 2: Sectoral technical assistance in the rational use of energy in buildings, transport and industry including the provision of technical advice to the members of the OPET Network; - Lot 3: Sectoral technical assistance in the field of renewable energy sources including the provision of technical advice to the members of the OPET Network; - Lot 4: Sectoral technical assistance in the field of fossil fuels including the provision of technical advice to the members of the OPET Network. It should be noted that the submission of tenders under Lot 1 of this call is incompatible with the submission of tenders for the earlier call for the setting-up of the OPET Network published in December 1995 (OJ No S 240 of 15.12.95 p. 29).
