Development services for multimedia training applications
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission has published a call for expressions of interest concerning the development of multimedia applications for the purpose of training and preparing inspectors responsible for inspecting nuclear equipment, as provided for in the Euratom Treaty. In this context, the service provider should be in a position to: - Cooperate with the services of the JRC in Ispra, Italy, for the design of multimedia applications for training; - Implement multimedia applications by using existing commercial products for the development of multimedia applications; - Provide services related to the preparation of multimedia resources (sound, image, graphics, photography) specific to the implementation of applications. Service provider's will be allowed access to training instruments and manuals in the Perla laboratory at JRC-Ispra. Certain applications may be developed in several languages, enabling the user to choose the language he prefers to work in when using the system. Every application should be developed in such a way as to allow interaction with other multimedia applications, having a relational content. In this context, it should be noted that the applications already developed in the Perla laboratory were created with Asymetrix multimedia development tools.
