The European Commission, DG XIII, has published a guide to sources of information on research and technological development in Greece, entitled "Optimization of Innovation". The guide was compiled by Strategic International Ltd. on behalf of the Commission's INNOVATION programme, which aims to strengthen Europe's innovation structure, and disseminate research results to industry.

The guide provides information on both EU and Greek research policies and programmes. It includes national and EU contact points for researchers in the following areas:

- Collaboration in the setting up of research projects;
- Research results;
- Conception and development of products;
- Promotion and optimization of research results;
- Company financing;
- Legal assistance.
