MEDIA II - Development and distribution
The European Commission, DG X, has published a call for proposals concerning the implementation of the MEDIA II - Development and distribution programme (1996-2000) aimed at encouraging the development and distribution of European audiovisual productions. The call concerns: - The promotion of development of production projects for the market, and the European market in particular; - Encouragement for the development of production companies; - The networking of production companies. The call is addressed to independent European production companies whose activities contribute to the objectives outlined above. It indicates how to obtain the relevant documents in order to submit a proposal with a view to obtaining a financial contribution from the Community.
