The European Commission, DG XVI, has published an invitation to tender concerning the provision of technical assistance in matters relating to the implementation of regional policy, carried out under Objective 1 (Structural adjustment of less-developed regions) of the Structural Funds, in Spain, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Italy.

The Commission is seeking to award a framework contract to an international body for the provision of technical assistance for the analysis and evaluation of specific actions, co-financed under Objective 1 of the Structural Funds, in Spain, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Italy.

The contractor will be responsible for establishing and managing a professional and immediate service for the analysis and evaluation of specific operational problems. The tenderer must have a network of qualified consultants in the countries concerned, with experience of operations under the Structural Funds.

The contract will be concluded for a duration of one year from the date of signing.
