ESPRIT - preliminary results of third and fourth calls for proposals
The European Commission, DG III, has issued preliminary results of the third and fourth calls for proposals published under the Community's specific RTD programme in the field of information technologies (ESPRIT). A total of 584 proposals were received in response to the third call for proposals, launched on 15 June 1995, representing requested funding totalling ECU 1,000.73 million. Of these, 132 proposals have been selected, receiving funding of ECU 145.26 million. One hundred and fifty five proposals were submitted following the fourth call, published in September 1995, requesting funding of ECU 212.64 million. The Commission has selected 37 of these proposals, which will receive funding of ECU 71.32 million in total.
