Swiss companies and organizations wishing to participate in the European Community's RTD programmes may now find the necessary information to do so on the University of Zurich's World Wide Web server. The Swiss Federal Office for Education and Science, in cooperation with Swiss universities, maintains a network of information on European research collaboration. This network is completed by the European Commission's individual programme offices. Details of contacts within this network can all be found on the World Wide Web server, as well as two regular bulletins which provide up-to-date information on the Community's Framework Programmes of research and development and rules for participation in these programmes. The server also carries information about other European research programmes including COST (European cooperation in the field of science and technology) and EUREKA (cooperation between European firms and research institutes in the field of advanced technologies).
