Frequency bands for digital European cordless telecommunications
The Commission of the European Communities submitted on 19 June 1990 a proposal for a Council Directive on the frequency bands to be designated for the coordinated introduction of digital European cordless telecommunications (DECT) in the Community (COM(90) 139). Member States shall designate the frequency band 1 889 to 1 900 MHz for DECT by 1 January 1992. DECT shall have priority and shall be protected in the designated band.
