Guide for proposers for INFO2000 programme
The European Commission, DG XIII, has published a draft "Guide for proposers" relating to the first forthcoming call for proposals under the INFO2000 programme for the development of a European multimedia content industry. The call is expected to be published in June 1996 in the Official Journal of the European Communities. The call will be for shared cost actions under Action Line 3.1 of the programme. This covers projects in the following areas: - Economic exploitation of Europe's cultural heritage; - Business services for firms, particularly SMEs; - Geographical information; - Scientific, technical and medical information. The "Guide for proposers" provides information on submitting proposals and on the selection procedure used by the Commission. The Guide should be consulted in conjunction with the INFO2000 work programme (see RTD-News RCN 5844) and the forthcoming call for proposals. The launching of the call will depend on the programme being finally adopted by the EU Council of Ministers.
