Preparation of texts for publication
Directorate-General XIII, Unit C-3 (responsible for disseminating the results of Community research), invites bids for the preparation of texts and manuscripts for publication. Main duties will comprise: The typing to specification of scientific and technical texts in all Community languages; handling and making-up of texts on diskettes; proofreading and collation (including assembly of illustrations) of the texts of reports, working documents and conference proceedings, so as to produce originals ready for offset printing. Work must be carried out on PC-compatible equipment. Completion deadlines will be short and irrevocable. The contract will take effect in March 1992. Financing and payment arrangements will be established in one or more renewable one-year contracts. The tenderer will be required to produce a statement giving details of the resources available for carrying out the contract plus proof of professional experience in comparable work (in particular in the field of printing).Mr. E.
