The European Commission has decided to authorize five aid schemes in the fisheries sector in Spain, France, Germany and Italy. The aid schemes are as follows: - Spain: Aid to shipowners and fishermen of Spanish fishing vessels operating in Moroccan waters which had to suspend their fishing activities; - France: Public funding for two agricultural collectives in the aquaculture sector, one in Guadeloupe and the other in Martinique; - Germany: One-off aid for the processing and marketing of fishery products awarded to the company Beeck Feinkost GmbH, in the Land of Hamburg; - Italy: . Grant of financial aid for a set of schemes under an Italian regional law (Region of Marche) for the development of the fisheries sector; . Contribution of the National Solidarity Fund for Fisheries as a result of exceptionally adverse environmental conditions in 1994 in certain fishing areas.
