Results of second call for proposals under FAIR programme
The European Commission, DG XII, has announced that 50 projects have been selected for funding following the second call for proposals under the specific RTD programme in the field of agriculture and fisheries (FAIR) (OJ No C 148 of 15.6.1995 p. 41). The 50 projects were selected from 233 proposals. The Commission welcomed the strong industrial participation in these projects, with 33% of partners involved being companies. A total of 41 of the projects deal directly with the food industry, while the remaining nine deal with non-food developments of industrial products from biological raw materials. The total Community contribution to the projects will be almost ECU 50.4 million.
