First of four calls for technical assistance in relation to industrial affairs
The European Commission, DG III, has published a call for expressions of interest for the collection of information, the carrying out of studies and the provision of technical assistance, leading to greater knowledge of problems in relation to the development of Community and global industrial policy. The purpose of this call is to undertake a selection process and draw up a list of service providers who will later be invited to tender for the activities described below. The list resulting from this call will be used exclusively for contracts whose estimated value is inferior to the thresholds prescribed in the relevant "public contracts" directives. The works to be carried out are contingent on political or economic requirements and will cover the following subjects: 1. Completion and operation of the internal market and industrial policy in the following sectors: 1.1. Foodstuffs intended for human consumption (products and processes) 1.1.1. Food legislation 1.1.2. Biotechnology: technological innovations, competitiveness, sectoral analyses, markets, regulations, R&D 1.2. Pharmaceutical products 1.2.1. Pharmaceutical law 1.2.2. Pharmaco-economy 1.2.3. Pharmaceutical terminology 1.2.4. Telematics in the pharmaceutical sector 1.3. Automobile and other land transport vehicles 1.3.1. Regulatory aspects 1.3.1.1.
