The European Commission, DG VI, has published a call for proposals on an aeropalynologic (capture of pollen in the atmosphere) method for timely assessment of the potential production of grape wine and olives. Proposals are requested regarding: - One transfer activity from applied research to a pre-operational service for timely estimation of the potential production of wine in the European Union from pollen concentration in the atmosphere; - One research and development (R&D) theme which, as a general objective, has to support the operation and continuous upgrading of the "advanced system of information on agriculture" in the field of grape wine and olive production. Proposals must cover all elements requested in the tender documentation. The expected duration of the transfer activity will be three years, subdivided in three contracts of 12 months each, while the expected duration of the R&D study will be 12 months.
