Provision of services and communication and information tools covering Community rural development policy
The European Commission, DG VI, has published an open invitation to tender for the provision of services and supply of goods in the field of information and communication covering Community rural development policy. The tender covers the following tasks: - Proposals in relation to the development of a communication strategy, including the evaluation and continuous adaptation of the latter and of its fundamental elements with regard to aims and means; - Relations with the target audience and the media (regional and specialized): . Follow-up and upgrading of information, with the aid of existing relays, and use of this data for continual improvement of the communication and information programme; . Promotion of relations with regional and specialized media (preparation of press files and regional press conferences, etc.); - Management and highlighting of events concerning rural development: . Setting up of events in which DG VI takes part (conferences, fairs, exhibitions, etc.); . Identification and selection of other events for the participation of DG VI; - Design of written and audiovisual communication tools: . Design, production and distribution of written material; . Creation, production and dissemination/distribution of audiovisual material; . Creation, management and updating of a mailing list. The contract will be for a period of four years. Following a two-year period, the continuation of the contract will be subject to an appraisal of the quality of service provided.
