EUREKA, an inter-governmental organization for the promotion of cooperation between European firms and research institutes in the field of advanced technologies, has published its annual report for 1995.

The report provides details of EUREKA projects carried out during 1995. EUREKA has nine technological areas in which projects are sponsored. These are:

- New materials;
- Robotics and automation of production;
- Communications technology;
- Energy technology;
- Environment technology;
- Medical technology and biotechnology;
- Transport technology;
- Information technology;
- Laser technology.

The report also contains general information about EUREKA, and contact points in all 24 member countries and in the European Commission.
