The European Commission, DG IV, has published a corrigendum to its invitation to tender of 4 June 1996 for a study on the competition implications in telecommunications and multimedia markets (OJ No S 105 of 4.6.1996 p. 21). The study should examine the implications of (a) the joint provision of cable and telecommunications networks by a single dominant operator, and (b) restrictions on the use of telecommunications networks for the provision of cable-television services. The corrigendum extends the deadline for requesting the tender documents from 9 July to 17 July 1996 and for submitting tenders from 9 July to 26 July 1996. The corrigendum also states that tenders may now be drawn up in one of the official Community languages, and not only in English as originally stated. Requests for the tender documents (especially the invitation to tender, specification, draft contract and the general conditions applicable to the Commission) should be sent to: European Commission DG IV - Competition Information, Communication Multimedia Directorate 200 rue de la Loi (C150 3/53) B-1049 Brussels Tel. +32-2-2950827; Fax +32-2-2969819 Telex: COMEUR B 21877 Telegraphic address: COMEUR Brussels
