List of potential partners for INFO2000 MIDAS-NET nodes
A list of potential partners for MIDAS-NET (Multimedia Information Demonstration and Support Network) nodes, part of the Community's INFO2000 programme for the development of a multimedia content industry, is now available on the World Wide Web. The list provides contact points for potential partners for the MIDAS network and includes the most relevant of the main EU initiatives addressing multimedia or containing a multimedia element, and which are complementary to the activities of INFO2000. These include the following EU programmes and initiatives: - ESPRIT programme for information technologies; - National Awareness Partners (NAP) network; - ACTS programme for advanced communications technologies and services; - INNOVATION Relay Centres network; - Information Market Forum; - SOCRATES action programme in education; - LEONARDO DA VINCI vocational training action programme; - Euro Info Centres network; - BRE (business cooperation office); - BC-NET (business cooperation network).
