The European Commission, DG XXII, has launched an open call to tender for an external organization to carry out the interim evaluation of the Youth for Europe programme. The overall aims of the evaluation are to: - Provide information and recommendations which can serve as a basis to redefine and possibly adjust the guidelines for the programme; - Assess the extent to which the objectives of the programme have been achieved; - Adopt and, where necessary, develop suitable evaluation methods and methodologies to measure the effects of the programme. The contract will last from 1 January 1997 to 30 June 1997.
