Council common position: EEC-EFTA cooperation on STEP, EPOCH
The Council established (25 November 1991) common positions on two Commission proposals for cooperation concerning the environment: - A proposal for a Decision concerning the conclusion of bilateral Cooperation Agreements between the EEC and the Republic of Iceland and the Kingdom of Sweden respectively on research and development in the field of the environment: Science and technology for environmental protection (STEP programme) and the European programme on climatology and natural hazards (EPOCH). - A proposal for a Decision concerning bilateral cooperation Agreements on STEP between the EEC and the Republic of Austria, the Republic of Finland and the Kingdom of Norway respectively.
