Interchange of data between administrations - Agricultural sector
The European Commission, DG VI, has launched an open call to tender for services, including telematics, data organization, user-support and network organization, relating to the interchange of data between agricultural administrations in the European Union. The call involves six lots under the sectoral project PHYSAN: - Lot 1: Europhyt "PHY": extensions to the existing notification management system, PHY: . Complete the electronic messaging module for the input to, and interrogation of, the PHY database; . Foresee the use of standard messaging (Edifact); . Integration with the infrastructural and service strategies of DG VI and IDA; . Enlargement of the existing PHY database in order to treat new notification types, which will include the creation of new database entities; - Lot 2: PHYSAN support: service procurement for support, management and training for the PHY production database, and the PEST production database; - Lot 3: Catalogues/management: analysis, development and implementation of a database system in order to assist in the management of the Common Catalogues of Agricultural Species, Vegetables and Plants (Directives 70/457/CEE and 70/458/CEE), and particularly in view of the construction of an interchange structure with the partners; - Lot 4: Catalogues/interchanges: integration of the production dissemination database delivered from lot 3 in order to allow the storage, exchange and comparison of the variety descriptions; - Lot 5: Catalogues/access: implementation of a retrieval server, with advanced search by selection possibilities; - Lot 6: Pesticides IV: the existing version of the pesticides application covers the needs of the active substance inclusion programme, those of the maximum-residues-level fixing programme and the needs of Article 12 of Directive 91/414/EEC. The phase covered by this lot is to embrace a volet concerning the monitoring mechanisms and the inclusion programme for new active substances.
