EC research funding - A guide for applicants
The European Commission, DG XII, has published a completely revised edition of its guide for applicants for EC research funding. The fourth edition of the guide, which is completely revised and updated, provides information for applicants for EC research funding, in particular for the specific programmes of the Fourth RTD Framework Programme. The guide outlines the activities of the Fourth Framework Programme and provides information on the rules for participation, the preparation of a proposal and the selection process for projects. The model Community contract for research projects and the rules on the utilization and dissemination of results are also covered in the guide. The types of grants which may be awarded under the Fourth Framework Programme are outlined. Contact points in both the Member States and in the Commission are given for individual programmes. Finally, the guide also provides information on related Community programmes outside the Fourth Framework Programme, including those related to education, regional policies and coal and steel research.
