Laboratory service for high performance trace analysis
The European Commission, DG XVII, has published an invitation to tender for a laboratory service in the field of high performance trace analysis (HPTA). The aim of the tender is to provide the Euratom Safeguards Directorate with an analytical service for analysing swipe samples (up to 250 samples per year) to detect the presence of particles and determine the abundance of Pu-, U- and Th-isotopes, the presence of fission products or any other radio-isotopes correlated to nuclear activities.
