Catalogue of AIR projects
The European Commission, DG XII, DG VI and DG XIV, has published a complete catalogue of projects funded by the Community's AIR specific RTD programme. The AIR programme in the field of agriculture and agro-industry, including fisheries, was part of the Third RTD Framework Programme, and ran from 1991 to 1994. The catalogue contains synopses of all 426 projects selected for funding after the three calls for proposals launched during the life of the programme. The EC contribution to these projects was ECU 360 million and the projects involved a total of 3,419 participants. The four areas of the programme were as follows: - Primary production in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture; - Inputs to agriculture, horticulture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture; - Processing of biological raw materials from agriculture, horticulture, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture; - End-use and products. The AIR programme has been replaced by the FAIR programme under the Fourth Framework Programme.
